Louis Vuitton hosted a cocktail party at the famous department store Le Bon Marché to celebrate the launch of the new SC bags and the reveal of the Sofia Coppola windows.

A historical department store in Paris (some sources claim it to be the oldest one in the world), Le Bon Marché was a natural choice for the House to present the collaboration during Paris Fashion Week. Aside from being one of Sofia Coppola’s favorite stores in Paris, Le Bon Marché has always been ahead of its time one way or another: through its glass and steel architecture with contributions by Gustave Eiffel, or by its beginnings hosting an art gallery in its walls as early as 1875.

The collaboration with Louis Vuitton started back in 2009 when Sofia Coppola designed the iconic bag that bears her name. This season introduces new colors and a smaller version of the SC bag, the ‘BB’.

Sofia furthermore imagined ten windows to illuminate this very special project. Heart-shaped shiny balloons, glossy cherries, neon-strip and supersized peonies composed the different scenes; a way for us to discover another aspect of the cinematographer’s personality.

  • FALL/WINTER ACCESSORIES AND QUENTIN JONES

Quentin Jones, artist and fashion filmmaker, creates a film in celebration of the new Fall/Winter Women’s collection.

With the arrival of scarves, shawls, and belts in this next season's colors and fashion jewelry in distinct styles, Quentin Jones has played with the designs' shapes from the more geometric and jagged edged, to the spotted and warmer tones of the pieces.

For Fall/Winter 2013, the Fashion Jewellery collection revisits signature themes and introduces new ones, offering a myriad of exciting and enticing options...As ever, the importance of the Art Deco era, which inspired the creation of some Louis Vuitton icons, is perceptible in the collection's bold, graphic shapes and daring mixes of materials.

While the Karakoram scarves pull a pattern from the Pre-fall ready-to-wear, the Monogram shawls, belts, and Spike It cuffs take character from the Monogram Empreinte leather goods collection.

In a mix of collage and photo montage, all of the shapes fall into fun arrangements depicting the universe and revealing the different ways the accessories can be paired and worn.

The Monogram canvas is a never-ending source of inspiration, expressing the values and heritage of the House.

In 2011, Louis Vuitton perpetuated the know-how and creativity of the House by launching unexpected models combining the emblematic Monogram canvas, natural cowhide leather and, for the first time, coloured calf leather. Today, Louis Vuitton enriches this Monogram high-end collection with a contemporary hand-carry model.

Aside from its feminine design and rich functionalities, the bag offers a strong signature in the shape of a V in colourful supple calf leather revealing secured compartments. Four colour declinations will be available for the launch: Quetsche, Aurore, Havane and Safran.

This versatile everyday bag is inspired by Greek mythology, more specifically the Goddess of wisdom, arts and craft: Pallas Athena.

A unique grain and a subtle color palette, the Iconic Neverfull bag is finally released in Epi leather.

Epi has always been synonymous with color at Louis Vuitton. It was the first colored leather line to be launched by the House in 1985 (you might have recently caught a glimpse of some of the collection on iconic bridges across the world).

Today one of Louis Vuitton's Signatures will meet one of the most iconic shapes of the House thanks to the introduction of the Neverfull in Epi line. For the first time the House is launching a Neverfull in leather, a colorful addition to this iconic shape.

This new version of the Neverfull will suit everyday occasions; a possibility to play with colors easily for a feminine, casual chic silhouette.

Never has a full range of Epi colours been so highly anticipated.
