This year's Summer capsule collection transforms Louis Vuitton's iconic leather goods into kaleidoscopes of contrasting colors through a play of oversized and miniaturized Monogram. Celebrating the spirit of travel and the dolce vita of seaside holidays, this seasonal reinterpretation of the Monogram enhances a large selection of bags and accessories from the iconic Speedy and Neverfull to the new mini Beach Pouch and Onthego Tote. The new Summer capsule heralds the new season’s arrival in graphic, dynamic, sun-kissed style.

The Taigarama capsule collection in the final chapter of the Men's Spring-Summer 2019 Campaign, photographed by Raimond Wouda.
For the Men’s Spring-Summer 2019 Campaign, Artistic Director Virgil Abloh continues to illuminate the values established in his debut collection in final of his three-part campaign. Titled "School Teens" and shot by the Dutch photographer Raimond Wouda, the campaign depicts the formative communication between teenagers in group situations fundamental to the evolvement of a man from boyhood into adulthood. Students dressed in block-colour t-shirts evoke the Spring-Summer 2019 Louis Vuitton show for which Virgil Abloh invited 1500 young students clad in similar garments to form the colour spectrum of a rainbow.
A contemporary take on the 'schuttersstukken' of the Dutch Baroque, the images were photographed around schools in Los Angeles and observe the interactive culture specific to our teenage years: the desire to belong, contrasted by the need for individuality. In constant evolution with the times, this age-particular tension between uniformity and diversity paves the way for a man's future understanding of his own identity, wardrobe, and what that means.Menswear Virgil Abloh Spring-summer

A closer look at Nicolas Ghesquière's Fall-Winter 2019 Collection presented at the Louvre in Paris.
The vibrant “sartorial melting pot” that has emerged in the area surrounding the Centre Pompidou in Paris was Nicolas Ghesquière’s primary inspiration for his Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter Collection. Through the combination of graphic juxtapositions, the clashing of cultural references, and the multiplicity of expressions, the Artistic Director follows in the footsteps of Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers, the museum’s architects, by deliberately inviting lively debate.
Notable details include colorful re-interpretations of Louis Vuitton signatures such as with the Mini Luggage BB bag, as well as the application of the classic Monogram to novel forms as is the case with the playful Art Folder. Leather caps and flat square belt buckles on many of the models contribute to the overall celebration of the stylistic eclecticism of the decades that have passed since the Centre Pompidou’s founding in 1977.Fashion Show Nicolas Ghesquière Fall-Winter
