PERSONALISATION: MONTE CARLO CAIMAN LOAFERS - Louis Vuitton Fashion NEWS
With its My Catalogue personalisation service, Louis Vuitton is offering men the option of choosing the leather colour, buckle and initials for their Monte Carlo loafers.

Monte Carlo loafers are an iconic pair of Louis Vuitton shoes, crafted in Caiman leather - one of the finest skins in the world. 13 colours of leather are available, including cognac, crimson, cocoa and navy. Once the leather has been chosen, three different buckle options are provided: gold metal or dark metal with or without a matching leather insert.

Adding the final personalised touch to meet everyone's tastes and requirements, silver-toned initials are hot-stamped inside the shoes, as well as on the lining of the protective felt bag. This personalisation service is available in our Louis Vuitton stores. • PERFUMED CANDLES COLLECTION

PERFUMED CANDLES COLLECTION - Louis Vuitton Fashion NEWS
Imbued with the spirit of travel that has inspired the House since the outset, the Louis Vuitton collection of perfumed candles is an invitation to escape and to dream.

Composed in Grasse by the Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, their fragrances immediately transport the senses. Like an olfactory snapshot, each one captures the atmosphere of an inspiring setting and brings it into the home. There, it opens a window onto a singular, exotic world, blurring the lines between interior and exterior, between here and elsewhere. Taking off is merely a matter of lighting the wick and closing one’s eyes. Nestled in daring ceramic containers designed by Marc Newson and crafted in Louis Vuitton's workshops, the candles feature a natural leather handle, an emblematic signature of the Maison, that gives them a pure and nomadic character.

Launched in 2018, the Louis Vuitton collection of scented candles now comprises six creations that are like so many getaways to savor right at home. Following L’Air du Jardin, Île Blanche, Feuilles d’Or and Dehors Il Neige, it has expanded to include En Mai, a bucolic and spring-like fragrance, and Écorce Rousse, a powerful pairing of leather and wood.

NEW FASHION EYE RELEASES: JAPAN AND ORIENT EXPRESS - Louis Vuitton Art & Travel NEWS
Louis Vuitton releases two new editions to the growing Fashion Eye book series: Japan by Adolphe de Meyer and Orient Express by Sarah Moon.

Now totaling nineteen volumes, each album in the series reveals a country, a region, a city, or a destination through the gaze of a fashion photographer.

In a selection of images from the early 1900s, Baron Adolphe de Meyer, the first great fashion photographer, born in Paris and truly ahead of his time, illuminates the spirit of a Japan opening to the West, thus offering a rare glimpse into its culture and society during this period. French artist Sarah Moon, acclaimed for her style and creativity, returns aboard the fabled Orient Express. With a knowing nod to the passage of time, she reinvents the beauty of a train that captures many of our imaginations, without ever neglecting the full breadth of its story.
